The Brief.

Coro Energy heard through the oil and gas grapevine that we're pretty good at what we do. 
 

So it makes sense that us content kings (and queens 👸) were asked to help them totally rebrand for their Indonesian exploration.

"It's what's on the inside that counts"

Working from the ground up, we chose to initially ignore what the brand should look like. Instead, we defined what Coro Energy as a business and entity really meant.

A brand is so much more than just a logo. We looked at linguistic origins, cultural semiotics and core business values. In doing so, we formed the basis for a synergistic identity that both symbolised business intent and nurtured audience perception.

We took both architectural and contextual inspiration from the famous 'Heaven's Gate' in Indonesia. By aligning the brand with the cultural messaging and connotations, we gifted Coro Energy with a visual individuality and a purpose.

Pura Pentaran Agung Lempuyang

Being the most divine and grandeur of all Candi Bentar split gates, the Indonesian recognise the structure as a sense of safety and care. ⠀⠀

The gate denotes implications of protection once crossing, and an air of divine intervention.

Much to our delight, Coro Energy has fallen in love with the brand just as much as we have.
We continue to support them with marketing collateral, visual content and brand direction.

We approached MK21 as we were looking for something that really captured what our company values and champions. The depth that their creative research took them to provided Coro with not just a logo, but a fully developed brand. It's beautiful, unique and something that we are proud to call our own.
